In todays lab we learned how to build a device that lets you hear electromagnetic fields using a kit called Electrosluch. The electrosluch kit contains all the basic components needed to make the device. It uses two inductors which acts as antennas for magnetic fields, which sends the signal through two capacitors. These capacitors define the bottom cut-off frequency for the circuit. The signal is then sent through an inverting op-amp that gives us a gain of -390. The second part of the op-amp together with the two capacitors define the amount of bass from the circuit. This is then all sent to a headphone jack.
